Best Amazon Prime Day vacuum cleaner deals
Dyson V8 Origin cordless vacuum cleaner (£204.99, from £329.99)
This quiet but powerful Dyson cordless vacuum cleaner is one of the market leaders, thanks to its easily adaptable design and hair detangling technology. The Motorbar cleaner head automatically lifts strands from the brush bar, sending them straight into the bagless bin section, which can be easily emptied thanks to its hygienic point-and-shoot design. It’s a lightweight model, weighing around 2.5kg, making it a really easy-to-handle vacuum cleaner.
Capacity: 0.53 litres
Runtime: 40 minutes
Shark corded upright vacuum cleaner (£129.99, from £219.99)
Although this Shark model is a corded vacuum cleaner, it can be adapted into a portable vacuum, so you can lift it to clean stairs and ceilings. The user can switch between carpet and hard floor modes, which will adjust the suction control. This is one of the most popular corded vacuum cleaners available on Amazon, with a great saving of £90 to be made on Amazon Prime Day.
Capacity: 1.1 litres
Levoit cordless vacuum cleaner (£103.99, from £149.99)
This affordable cordless vacuum cleaner has anti-tangle roller technology, particularly good for homes with pets. While Levoit might not be a household name in the UK, it’s a popular brand in Germany and has consistently good reviews, thanks to its high suction and ability to collect hair. It’s slightly noisier than other vacuum cleaners on the list, but is an easy and efficient product to use.
Runtime: 50 minutes
Shark PowerPro cordless stick vacuum cleaner (£169.99, from £269.99)
There is a significant saving to be made on the Shark PowerPro, with £100 off its usual price. This cordless model has an anti-hair wrap technology, with flexible silicone fins to dig deep into carpets and pull out dirt. It also detects the type of floor it’s moving along, adjusting the brush-roll speed and suction needed for optimised cleaning. It has up to 50 minutes of runtime between charges, and can be adapted to be used as a handheld device for easy, flexible cleaning.
Capacity: 0.7 litres
Runtime: 50 minutes
Shark corded upright vacuum cleaner (pet model) (£169.95, from £319.99)
The Shark corded upright vacuum cleaner is a much-loved classic, and its adapted ‘Pet Model’ is arguably even more popular. Its anti-hair wrap mechanism removes hair from the brush roll as you clean, which is particularly good for removing pet hair.
Capacity: 1.1 litres
VACTechPro cordless vacuum cleaner (£64.59, from £79.99)
This is an obvious dupe for the Dyson V8 Origin, but for a fraction of the price. Like the Dyson, the VACTechPro has a slimline design and can get into tight spaces and is easy to manoeuvre around the house. Like several of the other vacuum cleaners listed here, this has a front light to illuminate dark corners and make debris more visible. It converts easily to a handheld unit for reaching difficult areas.
Runtime: 45 minutes
Gtech AirRAM MK2 (£156.99, from £229.99)
Another relatively lightweight vacuum cleaner, this Gtech vacuum cleaner can be moved around with ease. Its LED headlights light up dark corners and its bagless bin makes cleaning much easier. Reviewers praise its effectiveness on a variety of surfaces, and its ability to collect pet hair.
Capacity: 0.8 litres
Runtime: 40 minutes
