What is bouclé fabric?
Bouclé fabric was popular in the mid-century modern movement as well as the 1970s boho aesthetic. Technically speaking, bouclé is a type of looped yarn that creates a curled, bumpy effect in the fabric.
Nowadays, sheepskin, teddy bear fabric, and super soft fleece textures tend to fall under the bracket of bouclé too, as they have a similar bobbly appearance.
How to clean bouclé fabric
Bouclé fabric is generally very easy to clean but you should always check the care label first as some wool bouclé will have to be dry-cleaned only. If your bouclé fabric is washable though, follow our simple steps below...

- Air dry rather than a tumble dryer
